- Hire a graphic designer to spruce up the look of your website. The impression a visitor has the first-time they visit your website will powerfully effect their opinion of the content they find on the site.
- Advertise a free eBook on a freebie website for a short-term burst of traffic.
- Set-up a free Flickr.com account, launch your images to your account, along with a good keyword rich title, several tags (not more than 10) and description, and watch the free traffic roll in. Add a few links to related articles following the image description, for an even greater traffic stream.
- Make a video and launch it on YouTube.com. Television advertising might be out of reach, but a simple video describing your offer might be well within your grasp. While the advertising is free, you will have to determine if you have the skill set to make a quality video presentation. If you do decide to pursue this advertising medium, the rewards for your effort have great potential. The power of your presentation will allow you reach far beyond the strength of the written word, to clearly illustrate, through sound and picture, the benefits of your product or service.
For each video that you launch to Youtube.com, remember to include a descriptive and engaging keyword rich title, several tags (not more than 10), the desired landing page URL in the description box, and a description of the content on that page. The URL should appear first in the description box, allowing visitors to see the link whether the video description box in expanded (more info) or collapsed (less info). You might also include a short description about your website.
